The phishing site that was set up to hoodwink Twitter’s users has a second front door that looks exactly like Facebook. The address of the fake Twitter site was twitter.access-login.com/login, but take out the “/login” part and you arrive at the dead-ringer for the Facebook homepage.

It all seems to point back to one person that goes by “Gmz” on a hacker site called Digital Gangster (this site was also where Miley Cyrus photos were posted after they were taken from her hacked Gmail account). Gmz obtained the account credentials and then posted them on DigitalGanster.

The BitTorrent popularity surge is still underway, with more users discovering that it’s the fastest way to transfer large files online. One of the most frequently visited torrent sites, Mininova, has seen the number of torrent downloads double from 3.5 billion to 7 billion during 2008, and this download rate is still increasing.
